Flooring Reuse Programme

The vision

The Salvation Army Trading Company have introduced a flooring reuse service to divert more items away from disposal and extend their useful life. The new scheme invites businesses to to donate excess, post production or end of season flooring to be repurposed.

Donated stock will be distributed to Salvation Army donation centres across the UK to provide affordable flooring for those who need it most.

Richard Shea, Service Development Manager, SATCoL said “We have won a Carpet Recycling UK award for best practice for our Reuse and Recycling Project 2024. We're delighted to be working in partnership with brands who share our vision and commitment to helping the most vulnerable in the community. Our Flooring Reuse Programme will provide good quality repurposed flooring to those who need it most."

Donate via our Take Back scheme.
